Let’s start with the inactives:

Jarrett – Caught up in safety depth

Marsh – Caught up in CB depth

Tapp – Injured

Watkins – Caught up in OL depth; not ready to play yet

Vandervelde – See Watkins

Justice – Still injured

Parker – Injured

Noticeable actives: Mike Vick WILL be starting today. QB Vince Young is active for the first time this season. DE Philip Hunt is active for the second straight week, since the Eagles need DE depth with Tapp and Parker injured.

UPDATE: Giants inactives: Scott, Petrus, Brewer, Clayton, Amukamara, Umenyiora, Manningham

The Eagles face their first divisional match-up of the season today against the New York Football Giants. No big deal, right? Just another game? Wrong! The Giants, as we all know, have lost 6 straight and would love a win today. On the other hand, the Eagles would love to expose that depleted Giants secondary and improve to a 2-1 record. The Eagles are clearly the favorites in this match-up, and with good reason. With all the injuries the Giants are facing, I just don’t think they’re a good enough to beat a tough, talented Eagles team on the road.

Don’t forget to check back later for “Props & Flops” for today’s game. Have a great day, and go Eagles!
